Key Responsibilities

1. Accounting and Financial Closing

  • Oversee and review monthly, quarterly, and annual financial closings to ensure compliance with TFRS for PAEs and the requirements of the Securities and Exchange Commission (SEC) and the Stock Exchange of Thailand (SET).
  • Coordinate with external auditors to ensure successful audits without significant findings or negative observations.
  • Develop and manage the annual budgeting process and contribute to short-, mid-, and long-term financial strategy planning.

2. Accounts Receivable

  • Manage the end-to-end revenue recognition, invoicing, and debt collection processes to maintain organizational liquidity and minimize bad debt risk.
  • Supervise customer credit control and ensure effective and timely collections with no complaints from clients or related departments.

3. Taxation and BOI (Board of Investment)

  • Supervise the preparation and timely submission of various tax filings (e.g., VAT [PP.30], withholding tax [PND.1, 3, 53], corporate income tax [PND.50, 51], etc.) in compliance with Thai tax regulations.
  • Manage accounting and reporting related to BOI-promoted projects, including tracking and utilizing investment privileges.
  • Serve as the primary contact for tax authorities, the Excise Department, and the Board of Investment, ensuring professional and accurate communication.

4. Internal Controls and Management Support

  • Design and implement effective internal controls within the accounting function to ensure transparency and reliability.
  • Provide accurate and timely financial analysis and insights to support strategic management decisions.

Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree or higher in Accounting (must hold a valid CPD license).
  • Minimum of 7 years of accounting experience, with at least 3 years in a managerial or chief accountant role.
  • Experience working in a publicly listed company or an organization audited under SEC regulations
  • In-depth knowledge of TFRS for PAEs and Thai tax regulations.
  • Strong analytical skills and ability to interpret financial statements professionally.
  • Proficiency in ERP accounting systems (e.g., SAP, Oracle, Microsoft Dynamics).
  • Advanced Microsoft Excel skills (e.g., PivotTables, VLOOKUP, Power Query).
