Material Planning

Responsibilities:

1. Production Material Planning:

2. Oversee the development of production material plans based on production schedules, forecasts, and customer demand.

3. Work closely with the production team to align material availability with production needs.
4. Monitor and adjust material plans to accommodate changes in production volumes or schedules.

5. Inventory Management & Control:

6. Ensure optimal inventory levels are maintained to meet production requirements without excess or shortages.

7. Track material usage and consumption, analyzing trends to forecast future material needs accurately.
8. Identify slow-moving materials and propose corrective actions such as reordering, usage reduction, or supplier changes.

9. Coordination with Procurement & Suppliers:

10. Work closely with the procurement team to ensure timely delivery of required materials, avoiding production delays.

11. Communicate material shortages or critical needs to the procurement team and suppliers to expedite orders.
12. Evaluate material suppliers' performance based on quality, cost, and lead times.

13. Production Scheduling Support:

14. Collaborate with production managers to ensure that material requirements align with production schedules.

15. Analyze potential production issues due to material shortages or delays and develop solutions to prevent disruptions.

16. Team Leadership & Supervision:

17. Supervise and mentor a team of material planners to ensure they meet departmental and organizational goals.

18. Provide guidance and training to team members on material planning best practices, processes, and systems.
19. Conduct performance reviews and provide feedback for continuous improvement.

20. Reporting & Documentation:

21. Prepare reports on material inventory levels, procurement status, material usage, and production planning activities.

22. Maintain accurate records of material transactions, forecasts, and inventory adjustments.
23. Track key performance indicators (KPIs) related to material planning and provide insights to improve performance.

24. Process Improvement & Optimization:

25. Continuously evaluate and improve material planning processes to enhance efficiency and reduce costs.

26. Implement best practices in production material planning to support the company's goals of on-time delivery, cost reduction, and waste minimization.

27. Collaboration with Cross-Functional Teams:

28. Work closely with cross-functional teams, including production, procurement, logistics, and quality control, to ensure material requirements are met without affecting production schedules.

29. Participate in regular meetings to align on production, supply chain, and material planning strategies.

Qualification

1. Bachelor's degree or higher : in Statistical field , IE , Economics or related fields
2. Analytical skills , Logical thinking : Data analysts work with large amounts of data, including: facts, figures, and number analysis
3. Good communication skills in English.
4. Proficient in using MS Office.
   
   Work schedule: Monday to Friday, from 8:00 AM to 6:00 PM
