Qualifications:

Bachelor's degree in a related field with a valid Professional Safety Officer certification as required by law.

Minimum of 1–3 years of experience in an industrial or manufacturing environment.

Strong knowledge of occupational safety laws and regulations.

Excellent communication skills and the ability to work effectively with others as part of a team.

Proficient in basic computer applications, particularly Microsoft Office.

Good command in Chinese

Responsibilities :

  1. Ensure compliance with the latest Professional Occupational Safety Officer Law.

  2. Conduct aspect and risk reviews for all departments, update regularly, and follow up on corrective actions.

  3. Environmental Monitoring: Set up and review monitoring parameters, request quotations, guide suppliers during testing, and submit reports to the relevant government authorities.

  4. Waste Control: Apply for licenses via government platforms, renew permits, coordinate with suppliers for hazardous waste disposal, report industrial waste quantities on the government system, visit disposal plants, and prepare the annual report for government submission.

  5. Contractor Control: Provide training, issue contractor ID cards, manage work permits, and conduct safety inspections.

  6. Legal Compliance: Collect new legal updates monthly. If relevant, review details, update the legal register, and present important items to the Safety Committee and General Manager.

  7. Machine Validation: Perform inspections based on defined forms and follow up on corrective actions.

  8. PPE Management: Assess PPE needs for new processes and update the PPE matrix. Select appropriate PPE specifications, manage stock, oversee the ordering process, and distribute PPE accordingly.

  9. Toolbox Talks: Plan and implement toolbox talk schedules, and maintain records.

  10. EHS Inspections: Conduct comprehensive inspections, categorize findings, analyze data, prepare summary reports, present results to concerned departments, and follow up on corrective actions.

  11. Highlight critical findings during safety meetings, and ensure action plans are created and followed.

  12. Organize safety quizzes, manage advance payment requests, and ensure proper financial clearance.

  13. Safety Committee Meetings: Prepare presentations, conduct site tours, and record meeting minutes.

  14. Submit required reports to local government authorities.

  15. Crane & Forklift Safety: Collect driver lists, coordinate with HRR for training courses, issue license cards, update the authorized driver list, support crane load testing with suppliers, and submit related reports to the government.

  16. Perform daily safety walk-throughs, prepare reports, follow up on actions, and update the inspection results.

  17. Maintain and update the main EHS information board.

  18. Provide safety training for new employees.

  19. Prepare and distribute HSE announcements.

  20. Manage and update EHS-related documentation, including revisions and new issuances.

  21. Maintain ISO 14001 and ISO 45001 systems.

  22. Manage EHS-related costs as assigned by the department owner.

  23. Perform other tasks as assigned.
