Area Sales Manager

Job Objective
- Achieve individual sales goals outlined in the operational plan (OP).
- Monitor and manage personal sales performance while contributing to team success with minimal risk.
- Deliver value-added programs to customers.
- Fully utilize Sales CRM as a core tool for sales processes.
- Provide continuous technical and commercial support tailored to customer needs and requirements.
- Foster strong customer relationship management.
- Offer ongoing technical support to OEMs, including preparing customized product recommendations to support domestic and international sales activities.
- Strengthen the brand's market leadership position in the specialized lubricants sector.
- Meet HSSE targets and contribute to building a proactive HSSE culture.
Key Responsibilities
Sales Area Management
- Secure new orders and expand existing business.
- Acquire new customers through market research and increase market share.
- Develop realistic annual sales plans and re-assess the sales outlook for the current year.
- Identify market potential and target customer groups.
- Define requirements for new or modified products.
- Manage sales within assigned territories and set action priorities to meet sales goals.
- Plan quantities and sales in alignment with OP and re-assessments.
- Support product development and improvements and explore new applications.
- Gather market intelligence on competitors to guide marketing strategies.
Customer Service & Coordination
- Provide expert advice and support to customers as a trusted partner.
- Coordinate customer interactions in collaboration with other sales colleagues.
- Prepare reports on key customer issues and interactions, sharing them with stakeholders.
- Support the introduction of new products and oversee testing at customer sites.
- Handle product-related complaints, document them, and communicate details to headquarters.
- Plan weekly and monthly customer visits to optimize support.
- Participate in trade shows, exhibitions, TechDays, roadshows, and other marketing events.
- Organize training seminars for customers.
Special Assignments
- Conduct cross-regional sales activities for specific markets or customers, as agreed with the Senior Sales Manager or superior.
- Act as an Account Manager/Key Account Manager, focusing on long-term customer management and handling special projects assigned by the Head of General Sales.
- Develop a deep understanding of assigned industries and align with customer strategies for both short- and long-term goals.
- Analyze industry competitiveness, trends, and innovations to drive business growth.
- Participate in company training programs and initiatives to deliver value or support special campaigns.
Requirement
- Have several year of experience in sales and marketing Industrial Lubricants is preferred but also open for sales engineer who directly sell the engineering products to the manufacturing which uses the industrial lubricants
- Bachelor's degree and able to discuss in terms of technical with the customers
- Knowledge of local lubricant market and our key products.
- Sales-oriented attitude, open-minded, Cooperative and convincing.
- Able to travel in upcountry and be determined to sell high-quality products.
- Good command of English and outstanding communication skills.
- Entrepreneurial thinking with professional and positive attitude, ready to take initiatives.
- Excellent verbal, written and telephone skills supported by strong interpersonal skills.
- Possess driving license and own car
