Job Summary:

We are seeking a detail-oriented and strategically minded Senior Accounting / Accounting Manager to lead our accounting department. You will be responsible for overseeing all aspects of financial reporting, maintaining internal controls, and ensuring the accuracy of our financial data. The ideal candidate is a leader who can mentor a team while ensuring that all month-end and year-end processes are completed with precision and compliance.

Key Responsibilities

  • Oversee day-to-day accounting activities, including preparing journal entries with proper supporting documentation
  • Ensure accurate and timely monthly, annual, and statutory financial reporting
  • Prepare and submit tax filings and declarations (VAT, WHT, and Corporate Income Tax)
  • Coordinate with external accounting firms and tax advisors to ensure compliance and on-time tax payments
  • Prepare monthly financial reports, review bookings, and take corrective actions where needed
  • Support the finance team in compiling and tracking the annual budget
  • Provide ad-hoc accounting and tax insights to support business operations, including advising when to involve external experts

Required Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or related fields.
  • At least 10 years' experience in accounting.
  • CPD license is required, CPA license is a plus.
  • Strong proficiency in Microsoft Excel.
  • Solid understanding of accounting principles and local tax regulations.
  • A strong compliance mindset with high attention to detail and accuracy.
  • Strong problem-analysis and problem-solving skills.
