Primary NES English Teacher (SEN Experience)

Learn Satit Pattana Primary School (LSP) is seeking Native English-Speaking (NES) Primary English Teachers to join our team from May We are expanded our teaching team). We are looking for dedicated, caring educators with experience or strong interest in supporting EAL learners with learning gaps and additional needs.

This is an excellent opportunity to work in a supportive, well-resourced school community that values inclusion, collaboration, and professional growth. Please note we are not in central Bangkok, so moving to the local area would be an advantage.

The Role

The successful candidates will teach Grade 3–6 students using the Cambridge Global English Curriculum, focusing on building early literacy skills and supporting learners who require differentiation and intervention.

We are particularly interested in teachers who can:

Differentiate lessons effectively

Create resources for non-readers and struggling learners

Support students through targeted interventions

Foster a calm, inclusive, and encouraging classroom environment

Experience with reading schemes and online learning programmes is an advantage.

Essential Qualities

Experience teaching Primary English, especially learners with low English proficiency (EAL)

Ability to adapt lessons to meet a wide range of learning needs, including SEN

Strong understanding of early literacy (phonics, reading, basic writing)

Patient, caring, and supportive teaching style

Ability to use simple assessments to identify learning gaps and track progress

Strong classroom management skills and a commitment to inclusive education

Desirable Qualities

Experience working with SEN students or in a learning support setting

Knowledge of EAL strategies such as scaffolding, visual supports, and multisensory learning

Experience collaborating with learning support teams or teaching assistants

Willingness to engage in ongoing professional development in EAL and inclusion

Position Benefits

One-year renewable contract: 1 May 2026 – 30 April 2027

Salary: 60,000 THB per month

8 weeks paid holiday per school year + most Thai national holidays

Job Outline & Requirements

Bachelor's degree in an education-related subject

Proven experience working with EAL learners

Eligible to apply for (or already hold) a Thai teaching licence

Police clearance from home country, prior to teaching

Experience with the Cambridge Curriculum is beneficial but not essential

About the School

Learn Satit Pattana (LSP) is located in Klong Sam Wa, behind Safari World, approximately 30 km from central Bangkok. Many teachers choose to live near Fashion Island, just a 15–20-minute drive from the school.

The school has over 2,000 students across Kindergarten, Primary, and Secondary levels, with nearly 50% of lessons delivered in English.

The school day consists of 8 lessons and a 1-hour lunch break. Each teacher teaches 24 lessons of 50 minutes per week and two cover lessons.
