JOB SUMMARY

The Safety Officer is responsible for developing, maintaining, and implementing all activity aligned with the Company Security, Safety, Health, and Environment (SSHE) Management System. He/she will be fully responsible for implementing internal communication plans and activities under the company's systems of work and safe behavioral practices at all levels of the organization. This position provides SSHE's support for the operation process to maintain and continually improve quality, safety culture, and performance, in line with the organization's needs to comply with business objectives in accordance with the terms of our various contracts and the Integrated SSHE Management System.

DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES

  • SSHE Promotional: Design, create, and update SSHE promotional materials (e.g. posters, infographics, alerts, news) to enhance understanding and awareness of safe work procedures and the organization's SSHE standards. Responsible for ensuring consistent communication of key SSHE policies, alerts, or news to all levels of employees.
  • Training Management: Plan, coordinate, and manage all necessary SSHE training sessions, including legally mandated and company-specific programs. Maintain a comprehensive and systematic training record for all employees, ensuring compliance with competence requirements.
  • Regulatory Documentation and Administrative Support: Prepare, maintain, and submit all required documentation (e.g. Safety Report, Chemical Report, Workplace Monitoring reports) to governmental agencies and regulatory agencies accurately and in a timely manner. And assist with all necessary administrative tasks for the SSHE team.
  • Perform other occupational health and safety activities and related duties as assigned.

JOB SPECIFICATION

Education and Experience:

  • Bachelor's degree in science, focusing on occupational health and safety or public health.
  • 1-3 years of experience in SSHE Management Systems in real estate asset management, building management, construction, and the oil & gas business.
  • Good knowledge of occupational health and waste management practices and hazards.
  • Specific Knowledge & Skills of the ISO 9001, ISO 14001, and ISO 45001 standards are a plus

Required Skills/Abilities:

  • Good personality with Thai communication skills and fair English skills.
  • Proficient in using design software such as Canva or equivalent programs.
  • Quick learner, adaptable, with good interpersonal skills in public.
  • Good report writing skills with attention to detail, correctness, and accuracy with good use of English and technical terminology.
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office (Word, PowerPoint, and Excel) and Microsoft Email.
