About LariDea Kids' Café

LariDea is a unique family-friendly concept that blends an indoor thematic playground for children (ages 1–7) with a cozy, healthy café for parents and caregivers. Our mission is to create a warm, safe, inspiring space where kids can play and learn while adults relax, enjoy high-quality beverages, or work comfortably.

Job Responsibilities
1. Prepare and Serve Beverages

• Brew coffee and prepare a variety of drinks following LariDea's recipes and quality standards.
• Customize beverages based on customer preferences.
• Ensure every drink is served promptly, accurately, and with care.
• Maintain high standards of flavor, presentation, and consistency.

2. Deliver Excellent Customer Service

• Welcome customers—both parents and children—with warmth and friendliness.
• Answer questions about drinks, snacks, and kids' menu items.
• Recommend menu items, seasonal specials, or promotions.
• Provide service that reflects the family-friendly and playful spirit of LariDea.

3. Maintain Cleanliness & Café Organization

• Keep the coffee bar, preparation area, and service counter clean and tidy at all times.
• Regularly clean equipment, tools, and surfaces according to hygiene standards.
• Ensure all utensils, machines, and ingredients are prepared and ready for operation.
• Support overall cleanliness of the café area, especially in a kids-focused environment.

4. Manage Stock & Ingredients

• Refill coffee, milk, syrups, toppings, and other ingredients throughout the day.
• Monitor stock levels and notify the manager when items are running low.
• Assist with daily prep, including portioning and organizing ingredients.
• Ensure proper storage, labeling, and rotation of supplies.

5. Collaborate with the Team

• Work closely with colleagues at both the café and playground areas to ensure smooth operations.
• Support the team during peak hours, children's events, and busy weekends.
• Help resolve customer concerns politely and professionally.
• Adapt quickly to the dynamic environment of a kids' café.

6. Handle Cash and POS Operations

• Process orders and payments accurately using POS and card systems.
• Provide correct change and issue receipts.
• Count and verify cash at the beginning and end of each shift.
• Report daily sales and discrepancies immediately.

7. Maintain the Checkout Area

• Keep the cashier area clean, organized, and welcoming.
• Check the POS system, card reader, and receipt printer regularly.
• Prepare bags, napkins, stickers, and takeaway materials for smooth service.

Key Skills & Qualifications

• Friendly, positive, and service-oriented attitude—comfortable interacting with families and children.
• Strong attention to detail, hygiene, and beverage quality.
• Basic to advanced knowledge of coffee, brewing methods, and café operations.
• Ability to work as part of a team in a dynamic, fast-paced environment.
• Flexible with working hours, weekends, and special events.
• Honest, responsible, and punctual.
• Experience as a barista is a plus, but training can be provided for the right candidate.
