AI Systems Engineer

We are looking for a resourceful and innovative
AI Systems Engineer
to help shape Six Atomic's AI-driven garment design system.

You'll play a key role in expanding our system's capabilities and supporting the next generation of tools for fashion innovation.

Join us in bridging AI reasoning, geometric data, and real-time fashion production, from AI clothing design to manufacturing automation.

TECH QUALIFICATIONS

Required:

• Strong proficiency in Python
  with experience building asynchronous applications.
• Solid understanding of race conditions, mutex/locks, and concurrency control
  .
• Familiarity with
  Web API frameworks such as FastAPI
  .
• Experience working with relational databases (e.g., PostgreSQL, MySQL).
• Comfort with test-driven development (TDD) and writing maintainable, production-ready code.
• Experience with LLM-based systems
• including concepts like system prompts, context size, and tool/function calling.

Nice to have

• Experience integrating Elasticsearch or similar indexing/search systems.
• Understanding of data pipelines and trend analysis workflows (e.g., working with historical fashion or sales data).
• Familiarity with or basic DevOps tools (Docker, AWS).
• Background in geometry, statistics, or CAD systems.

OTHER QUALIFICATIONS

• 3+ years of experience in a similar role
  or demonstrably equivalent project experience.
• Bachelor's degree
  in Computer Science, Engineering, Mathematics, or a related field.
• Excellent command of English
  (written and spoken).
• Strong problem-solving and analytical thinking abilities.
• Able to work independently
  while collaborating with other engineers, designers, and data scientists.
• Passion for building high-impact AI systems
  and continuously learning new technologies.
• Based in Bangkok (any nationality currently residing in Bangkok is welcome).
• Work visa sponsorship available if required.

YOUR ROLE AT SIX ATOMIC

• Design and implement new capabilities for Catalyst, our AI garment-design assistant.
• Build intelligent systems that connect language model reasoning with structured data, enabling the generation of new garment patterns and collections.
• Collaborate with team leads and architects to develop new MCP tools such as:
• Historical sales and design trend analysis.
• Fashion trend prediction systems.
• Automated geometry and pattern-generation pipelines.
• Optimise API and LLM workflows for performance, scalability, and reliability.
• Participate in code reviews and maintain high engineering standards through test-driven development.
• Research and prototype new approaches to combining LLM reasoning with mathematical or geometric computation.
• Work closely with designers, data engineers, and other AI developers to turn innovative ideas into production systems.
