The Compounding and PI Manager is responsible for planning, coordinating, and controlling manufacturing processes to ensure goods and services are produced efficiently, at the right cost, and with the highest quality standards. This role will lead and manage all activities related to safety, quality, product, people, and processes to achieve departmental and factory KPIs, including budget control, cost optimization, machine improvement, and material usage efficiency.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Manage and supervise Compounding and PI operations and support teams (including Compounding NRL & PI, Dipping PI, Finishing PI, WIP, Glass Former, Centrifuge, etc.) to ensure balanced manpower utilization and cost effectiveness.
  • Oversee the production process and develop production schedules.
  • Monitor product standards and implement quality control programs.
  • Collaborate with relevant departments to resolve issues, improve processes, and meet production plans.
  • Develop and implement training plans for team members to enhance knowledge and skills.
  • Drive continuous improvement in production processes, safety, and quality.
  • Perform other duties as assigned by the Operations Manager.
Qualifications:

Education:

  • Bachelor's degree or higher in Engineering (Chemical, Mechanical, Industrial) or a related discipline.

Experience:

  • Minimum 3–5 years of experience in production/manufacturing within the latex industry.
  • Familiarity with ISO management systems, GMP, Lean Manufacturing, and TPM.
  • Strong technical knowledge and confidence in decision-making.
  • Project management, organizational, and efficiency skills.
  • Leadership and interpersonal skills.
  • Problem-solving and communication skills.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office, Excel, and Power BI.
