Job Title: Oversea Procurement Assistant Manager (Electronic Appliances and components)

Location: Silom Complex Building, near BTS Saladaeng or MRT Silom

Job Summary:

Panasonic Solutions Thailand is seeking a highly motivated and detail-oriented Oversea Procurement Assistant Manager to oversee and coordinate procurement activities for electronic appliances and components. The successful candidate will facilitate communication and negotiations with overseas and local suppliers, ensure timely procurement of quality products, and support the company's supply chain efficiency.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Manage and oversee procurement activities for electronic appliances and components from international and local suppliers.
  • Negotiate prices, terms, and delivery schedules to optimize cost and quality.
  • Review and evaluate supplier performance, ensuring compliance with company standards and specifications.
  • Monitor purchase orders, shipment status, and inventory levels to ensure on-time delivery.
  • Handle import/export/domestic documentation and ensure compliance with customs, incoterm, trade regulations, and company policies.
  • Evaluate supplier performance (cost, quality, delivery, and service) and propose improvement plans.
  • Handle cost reduction initiatives and sourcing strategies in line with company targets.
  • Collaborate with internal departments such as Accounting & Finance, and Logistics to ensure smooth procurement processes.
  • Monitor market trends and new supplier opportunities to enhance procurement strategies.
  • Prepare and analyze procurement reports, budgets, and forecasts.
  • Control team KPI relating with Quality, Delivery and Cost
  • Prepare procurement reports, analysis, and presentations for management.
  • Supervise, motivate and evaluate team staff's performance

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's degree or higher in Business Administration, Supply Chain Management, or related field.
  • Minimum 8 years of experience in overseas procurement, purchasing) , preferably in trading of electronic appliances or manufacturing industry.
  • Proficiency in English. Japanese language proficiency (JLPT N2 or above) would be advantage.
  • Good understanding of international trade regulations and import, export and BOI procedures.

  • Understanding of documents, including invoices, packing lists, Form D, Form E, Form A, JTEPA, and BOI-related documents.

  • Strong negotiation, leadership and organizational abilities, analytical mind, interpersonal and communication, problem-solving skills.

  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team in a multicultural environment.
  • Proficiency in MS Office. (Excel for data analysis and reporting, PowerPoint)
