Multimedia Journalist

• Research and write accurate, compelling daily news articles and feature stories in English.
• Convert news stories into engaging formats specifically for social media (e.g., summaries, threads, or visual posts).
• Upload and optimize content via the CMS/social media platforms ensuring proper SEO and tagging.
• Cover live events and provide instant digital updates.
• Collaborate with the print design and graphics teams to ensure visual consistency and impactful presentation across all mediums.
• Develop clear, engaging scripts for news videos, podcasts, and advertorial content.
• Work closely with print editors, digital editors, photographers, and designers to maintain high journalistic standards and ensure timely delivery across all deadlines.
• Others as assigned by supervisor.

Job qualifications

• Bachelor's degree or higher in Journalism, Communications, Mass Media, or a related field.
• A minimum of 2 year experience in journalism, with a strong portfolio showcasing work journalism and digital multimedia in English.
• Excellent in written and verbal communication skills in English and Thai for news writing and interviewing.
• Proven ability to write news for the strict demands of print layouts (concise, factual) while also generating engaging, shareable content for digital platforms.
• Proficiency in using industry-standard multimedia production software, including basic photo and video editing.
• Demonstrated ability to operate professional photo and video equipment independently.
• Proven ability to manage dual deadlines—the speed of digital reporting and the hard deadlines of print production.
• A strong commitment to journalistic ethics, objectivity, and impartiality in reporting.
• Willingness to travel and work non-standard hours as required for both breaking news and extended print cycles.
