Role Summary

As a General Ledger Accountant within the Shared Service Center in Prachinburi, you will play a key role in ensuring accurate financial accounting, timely month-end closing, and reliable reporting under both local GAAP and IFRS. You will work closely with the SSC Team Lead and collaborate with the financial teams across the international group.

Key Responsibilities:

General Ledger & Postings

  • Prepare and record journal entries in line with accounting policies.
  • Maintain and reconcile the general ledger, including building adequate evidence for accruals.
  • Manage postings relating to:
  • Fixed assets
  • Inventory movements
  • Accounts Payable & Accounts Receivable
  • Accruals and provisions
  • Payroll and personnel cost allocations

Closing & Reporting

  • Support month-end and year-end closing activities.
  • Assist with financial reporting under
    local GAAP
    and
    IFRS
    , including preparation for upload into HFM (final upload performed by central controlling team).
  • Perform financial data analysis and ensure consistency between budget and actuals.

Collaboration & Support

  • Work closely with the SSC Team Lead and colleagues in Prachinburi.
  • Ensure accurate and timely communication with relevant internal stakeholders.
  • Contribute to continuous improvement of processes within the SSC.

Qualifications

Education & Experience

  • Bachelor's degree in finance, Accounting, or a related field.
  • Minimum 3 years of experience in General Ledger accounting.
  • Accounting certification is a plus.

Skills

  • Experience with SAP is an advantage.
  • Strong English communication skills.
  • Proficient in Microsoft Excel and general MS Office tools.
  • Solid analytical ability and attention to detail.
  • Able to work independently while contributing positively to the SSC team culture.
