We are seeking a skilled Mechanical Engineer to join our Data Centre team in Bangkok, Thailand. This role focuses on delivering high-quality mechanical engineering solutions for mission-critical facilities across Thailand and the Asia-Pacific region. Responsible for design development, site inspections, and providing engineering support during the construction phase to ensure compliance with design intent and quality standards.

Key Responsibilities

  • Design & Engineering

  • Perform and review detailed mechanical design calculations, including HVAC load analysis, airflow distribution, and system sizing.

  • Prepare technical specifications, reports, and functional descriptions for mechanical systems.
  • Develop sustainable and energy-efficient mechanical solutions for data centres.
  • Coordinate with multidisciplinary teams (MEP, structural, architectural) to ensure integrated design solutions.
  • Utilize BIM and 3D modeling tools for design development and coordination.

  • Project & Client Engagement

  • Participate in client meetings, design reviews, and technical workshops.

  • Support proposal preparation, bids, and technical presentations.
  • Build and maintain strong relationships with clients, contractors, and stakeholders.

  • Construction & Site Support

  • Conduct regular site inspections during construction to verify compliance with design specifications and quality standards.

  • Provide engineering support during the construction phase, including responding to RFIs, reviewing shop drawings, and resolving technical issues.
  • Assist in commissioning and testing of mechanical systems to ensure operational readiness.

  • Compliance & Quality

  • Ensure adherence to Thai building codes, international standards, and Jacobs' quality management processes.
