Key Responsibilities- Design, develop, and maintain backend systems using and Python to support insurance-related applications such as Policy Management, Claim Processing, and Reporting systems.
- Develop and integrate APIs between internal platforms (Core Insurance, CRM, Data Warehouse) and external partner systems.
- Implement automation scripts and workflow solutions to streamline data processing for policy, premium, and payment information.
- Collaborate with Business Analysts and Data Engineers to analyze business requirements and translate them into scalable technical solutions.
- Ensure system performance, reliability, and security by applying best practices in clean code, testing, and monitoring.
- Support CI/CD and containerized environments using Git, Docker, and Jenkins (or equivalent tools) to automate deployments and improve delivery efficiency.
- Participate in data integration and migration projects, ensuring data consistency and system interoperability across platforms.
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Engineering, Computer Science, or a related field.
- 2–4 years of experience in backend development using and Python.
- Strong understanding of RESTful API design and microservices architecture.
- Hands-on experience with SQL / NoSQL databases such as PostgreSQL, MySQL, or MongoDB.
- Familiar with containerization (Docker) and version control systems like Git.
- Experience working in Agile / Scrum environments.
- Prior experience in insurance, finance, or data-driven enterprise systems is a plus.
Nice to Have
- Experience in ETL pipeline, data integration, or API Gateway development.
- Knowledge of Cloud Services (AWS, GCP, or Azure).
- Understanding of Core Insurance systems, including policy administration or claim processing workflows.
- Familiarity with monitoring and logging tools (Prometheus, ELK Stack, etc.).
Other Information: Hybrid (WFH 2 days/week).
