Job Summary

The Social Media Marketing Manager is responsible for planning, creating, and managing engaging social media content to build brand awareness, increase customer engagement, and drive sales for food-related businesses such as restaurants, cafés, or food brands. This role requires a strong understanding of food trends, digital marketing strategies, and social media platforms.

Key Responsibilities
Social Media Strategy & Management
  • Develop and execute social media strategies aligned with brand objectives
  • Manage daily content posting across platforms (Facebook, Instagram, TikTok, X, YouTube, etc.)
  • Plan monthly content calendars and campaign timelines
  • Monitor trends in food, lifestyle, and social media marketing
Content Creation
  • Create engaging content including photos, videos, reels, stories, and captions
  • Coordinate food photography, video shoots, and short-form video content
  • Ensure all content follows brand tone, visual identity, and messaging
  • Work with designers, videographers, influencers, and outlets if required
Community Management
  • Respond to comments, messages, and customer inquiries promptly
  • Engage with followers to build an active online community
  • Handle customer feedback and online reviews professionally
Campaigns & Promotions
  • Plan and execute promotional campaigns, product launches, and seasonal offers
  • Coordinate influencer collaborations and KOL campaigns
  • Support offline marketing activities with online promotions
Performance Tracking & Reporting
  • Monitor analytics and performance metrics (reach, engagement, conversions)
  • Prepare weekly/monthly performance reports and insights
  • Optimize content and campaigns based on data and trends
Advertising & Budget (if applicable)
  • Manage paid social media ads (Meta, TikTok, etc.)
  • Optimize ad performance and manage allocated budgets
Qualifications & Skills
Education & Experience
  • Bachelor's degree in Marketing, Communications, Digital Media, or related field
  • 2–5 years of experience in social media marketing (food & beverage preferred)
Skills
  • Strong understanding of social media platforms and algorithms
  • Passion for food, dining, and lifestyle trends
  • Excellent copywriting and storytelling skills
  • Basic knowledge of photography and video editing tools
  • Familiar with social media analytics tools and ad managers
  • Creative, detail-oriented, and highly organized
