This role is designed for an experienced yacht broker motivated by results and uncapped earnings. Group Island Spirit offers unlimited commission potential across both new and used yacht sales, supported by a powerful combination of in-house manufacturing, brokerage inventory, and Thailand's largest charter fleet.
With strong inbound demand, repeat clients, charter-investor buyers, and a recognised brand already trusted in the market, this position offers genuine scope for high-value transactions, repeat sales, and long-term income growth.
Role Overview
The Yacht Broker will be responsible for generating and closing yacht sales across new-build and pre-owned sailing yachts. The role requires strong technical aptitude across sailing monohulls and catamarans, commercial confidence, and the ability to guide clients through complex purchasing and ownership decisions.
While the role may be based anywhere in Thailand, key customers are located in Pattaya and Phuket, and the successful candidate must be able to travel between destinations at short notice when required.
Key Duties & Responsibilities
- Drive yacht sales across new-build and pre-owned vessels, with a clear focus on closing high-value transactions
- Manage the full sales lifecycle, from enquiry and qualification through to negotiation, contracting, and delivery
- Advise clients on yacht selection based on sailing experience, technical requirements, ownership objectives, and budget
- Demonstrate strong technical understanding of sailing monohulls and catamarans, including performance, layout, construction, and ownership considerations
- Conduct yacht inspections, onboard viewings, sea trials, and demonstrations
- Negotiate pricing and commercial terms to maximise deal value while maintaining long-term client relationships
- Prepare and manage sales documentation in coordination with internal teams and external stakeholders
- Present and structure optional charter-fleet placement opportunities for buyers seeking income-generating ownership models
- Build and maintain long-term relationships with private buyers, charter investors, repeat clients, and industry partners
- Represent Group Island Spirit at boat shows, marina events, and client meetings
- Maintain up-to-date knowledge of market conditions, pricing trends, and competitor offerings
Candidate Profile
Essential:
- Proven experience in yacht brokerage or high-value yacht sales
- Good technical aptitude across sailing monohulls and catamarans
- Demonstrated ability to close deals and generate commission-based income
- Commercially driven, self-motivated, and performance-focused
- Excellent communication and negotiation skills
- Fluent in English (spoken and written)
- Willingness to relocate to Thailand (for international candidates)
- Ability to travel within Thailand, particularly between Pattaya and Phuket
Desirable:
- Experience selling new-build yachts or working with yacht manufacturers
- Knowledge of charter operations or yacht investment models
- Existing client network within the yacht or marine industry
