Key Responsibilities

HVAC Quality Management

  • Oversee quality supervision and process control of HVAC systems in data center projects, including chilled water systems, CRAH/CRAC units, supply & exhaust air systems, and temperature/humidity control.
  • Review construction drawings, technical documents, and verify alignment between design requirements and on-site execution.
  • Conduct quality inspections on materials, equipment, and installation methods to ensure compliance with project specifications and standards.
  • Assist in preparing and updating HVAC quality inspection forms and related documents.

Construction and Inspection Coordination

  • Organize intermediate inspections, concealed work acceptance, system commissioning witnessing, and other inspection activities in accordance with project progress.
  • Maintain technical communication with the Chinese technical team and Thai consultants/PMCs to ensure consistent interpretation of standards.
  • Follow up on PMC/consultant comments, coordinate rectification actions, and submit re-inspection documentation.
  • Participate in equipment unboxing inspections (FAT/SAT), system testing, commissioning, and final handover activities.

Documentation and Approval Management

  • Prepare and review HVAC-related approval documents in compliance with consultant and project requirements.
  • Translate or support translation of technical documents (Chinese–English–Thai) to ensure accuracy of submissions.
  • Work with the documentation team to maintain complete, traceable, and well-organized quality records.

Quality System Implementation

  • Implement the company's QA/QC processes and ensure HVAC inspection activities align with ISO 9001 requirements.
  • Participate in internal quality audits, rectification meetings, and follow through on issue closure.
  • Assist in developing inspection standards, SOPs, and technical guidelines for HVAC construction and commissioning phases.

Technical Support and Training

  • Provide technical guidance to local construction teams and subcontractors during HVAC installation and commissioning.
  • Train QA/QC staff and construction personnel on interpreting Chinese drawings, standards, and technical requirements.
  • Facilitate communication among Chinese, Thai, and English-speaking teams to reduce misunderstandings and prevent quality risks caused by language gaps.

Job Specifications/Qualifications

  • Minimum 5 years of experience in HVAC construction or quality management in large buildings or data center projects.
  • Bachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering, HVAC Engineering, MEP Engineering, or related fields.
  • Experience in international projects or Chinese-funded projects is an advantage.
  • Strong understanding of HVAC system components, installation standards, commissioning procedures, and testing criteria (ASHRAE, SMACNA, ISO).
  • Ability to read and interpret Chinese and English HVAC drawings and single-line diagrams.
  • Capable of performing independent quality inspections and identifying non-conformities.
  • Proficient in AutoCAD, MS Office, PDF markup tools, and QA/QC reporting templates.
  • Detail-oriented with a strong sense of responsibility and ownership.
  • Excellent communication and coordination skills in multicultural project environments.
  • Strong learning ability and adaptability to fast-paced, high-intensity project timelines.
  • Good command in English. Chinese skill will be advantage.
