GL Analyst

Responsibilities:

• Review and record accounting transactions related to the General Ledger to ensure accuracy and completeness.
• Prepare monthly, quarterly, and annual financial statements, analyze data involving a volume of 10,000 transactions or more, and identify reasons for discrepancies.
• Coordinate with internal and external departments to gather relevant information for the General Ledger
• Review and prepare various tax reports, such as VAT, withholding tax, and other statutory reports, including preparing and submitting BOI Tax Benefits requests.
• Develop and improve accounting processes to enhance efficiency and reduce errors.
• Support and provide guidance to team members or related departments on accounting entries and financial report preparation.
• Collaborate with external auditors during the annual financial statement audit.

Qualifications:

• Bachelor's degree or higher in Accounting, Finance, or a related field.
• At least 2-5 years of experience in GL Accounting, Finance or a related position.
• Proficiency in accounting software and Microsoft Excel.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills in numerical and accounting aspects.
• High attention to detail and ability to work under pressure.
• Experience with SAP systems is an advantage.
• Good communication skills and the ability to work well in a team.
