Thai-citizenship Senior Actuarial Analyst
who is ready to move beyond basic data processing and take a lead role in shaping our technical foundations.

In this role, you will be a key player in bridging the gap between raw data and business strategy. You will have the autonomy to improve existing models and the opportunity to work across both Pricing and Valuation functions.

Key Responsibilities


•
Advanced Modeling
: Develop and maintain sophisticated actuarial models for reserving (IBNR) and pricing using GLMs and other statistical techniques.


•
Valuation & Compliance
: Lead the preparation of quarterly valuation reports and ensure seamless alignment with IFRS 17 standards and OIC regulatory requirements.


•
Portfolio Analytics
: Monitor the performance of our core portfolios (non-motor products), identifying trends in loss ratios and recommending corrective actions to the Underwriting team and Accounting team.

Process Automation
: Identify opportunities to streamline data workflows using SQL, Python, or R to reduce manual reporting time.


•
Mentorship
: Provide guidance and peer-review work for junior analysts, fostering a culture of technical excellence within the team.

Qualifications & Skills


• Experience: 3 to 5 years of experience in the General Insurance (Non-Life) industry.


• Exam Progress: Significant progress toward Associateship (ASA/ACAS) or Fellowship (FSA/FCAS/FIA). We highly value continued professional development.


• Technical Toolkit: Expert-level MS Excel and VBA.


• Strong proficiency in SQL for data extraction.


• Hands-on experience with Python or R is a significant advantage.


• Familiarity with reserving software (e.g., ResQ, Prophet) is preferred.


• Communication: Ability to translate complex "actuarial speak" into clear, actionable insights for senior management and non-technical stakeholders.


• Must be a Thai citizen.
