Remote Lands is an ultra-luxury tour operator specializing exclusively in bespoke travel across Asia. We're looking for a Travel Consultant to join our Bangkok office. This role focuses on managing high-end travel arrangements across 38 Asian countries, ensuring every detail runs seamlessly behind the scenes. You'll work closely with our Sales (New York), Product, and Customer Service teams, as well as directly with our partners and suppliers.

Key Responsibilities

  • Trip Coordination: Manage confirmed bookings by liaising with hotels, ryokans, guides, restaurants, and transportation providers.
  • Vendor Communication: Serve as the point of contact with suppliers to confirm services, resolve issues, and maintain smooth collaboration.
  • Quotations & Revisions: Prepare accurate cost quotations for new requests and update prices for revised itineraries.
  • Reservations & Bookings: Handle all arrangements including accommodations, transport, dining, and activities.
  • Financial Tracking: Monitor payment deadlines, coordinate with Finance, and ensure all trip financials are accurate (note: Finance processes the payments).
  • Cross-Department Collaboration: Work with Product on vendor information, Sales on client requirements, and Customer Service on trip execution.
  • Issue Flagging: Use judgment and common sense to identify potential disadvantages in partner offers or logistics and escalate for review.

Qualifications

  • Thai nationality
  • Bachelor's degree in Hospitality, Tourism, Business, or related fields
  • Good command of written and spoken English
  • Minimum 1 year of experience in travel operations or coordination
  • Strong organizational and communication skills; detail-oriented and reliable
  • Ability to manage multiple tasks and deadlines under pressure
  • Team player with a positive attitude and strong work ethic
  • Passion for travel and knowledge of destinations across Asia
  • Proficient in MS Office and familiar with travel-related software
