Bedrock (ARV), a venture arm of PTTEP, builds AI and data analytics solutions to drive Thailand's new S-Curves.Our Applied Machine Learning (AML) team combines ML, statistics, software engineering, and data science expertise.We focus on developing cutting-edge AI applications, often in geospatial and location intelligence domains.ML Engineers at Bedrock collaborate on cloud-based big data platforms and end-to-end AI product development.

Responsibilities:

  • Design and implement scalable, production-ready AI systems that leverage machine learning, deep learning, and LLMs to address geospatial and domain-specific challenges.
  • Drive the development of end-to-end AI pipelines, covering data ingestion, model training, evaluation, deployment, and monitoring.
  • Lead the design and execution of AI/ML platforms, incorporating best practices in MLOps, LLMOps, CI/CD, and software engineering principles.
  • Apply advanced techniques in Computer Vision, Image Processing, Natural Language Processing, and foundational Machine Learning to build impactful AI features.
  • Define experimental setups, design evaluation metrics, and assess model performance to ensure both technical excellence and business relevance.
  • Collaborate closely with data engineers, data scientists, and product teams to deliver integrated AI solutions and foster cross-functional alignment.
  • Stay current with cutting-edge AI research, tools, and cloud-native innovations, actively applying them to enhance platform capabilities.
  • Mentor and provide technical leadership to AI/ML engineers, contributing to the team's growth and fostering a culture of continuous learning.

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's or Master's degree in Computer Science, Artificial Intelligence, or related field.
  • 1+ years of professional experience in AI engineering, machine learning, or applied data science, with a proven track record of delivering AI products to production.
  • Deep experience with AI model development, including LLM fine-tuning, RAG, transfer learning, and custom model training for vision and NLP tasks.
  • ML system end-to-end solution design, including measure pros/cons, feasibility, etc.
  • Strong knowledge of cloud-native development, especially using AWS services like SageMaker, S3, Lambda, and Athena.
  • Proficient in Python and ML frameworks such as TensorFlow, PyTorch, Hugging Face, and OpenCV.
  • Skilled in containerization and orchestration (Docker, Kubernetes), with hands-on experience implementing ML systems at scale.
  • Familiarity with big data technologies (Spark, Lakehouse) and workflow orchestration tools (Airflow, Dagster).
  • Experienced with database systems (e.g., PostgreSQL) and strong in writing efficient SQL queries.
