We are looking for a Cloud Engineer to manage, optimize, and support AXA Thailand's Azure cloud infrastructure, ensuring high performance, security, and cost efficiency.

This role works closely with local and regional IT teams to align cloud strategy, governance, and operations with AXA Group standards.

Key Responsibilities

  • Manage and maintain Azure infrastructure and services (provisioning, configuration, and optimization).
  • Implement and support Infrastructure-as-Code (IaC) using Terraform and ARM templates.
  • Monitor and optimize cloud resources for performance and cost efficiency in line with FinOps principles.
  • Lead FinOps activities such as cost tracking, forecasting, and optimization initiatives.
  • Troubleshoot cloud infrastructure issues and coordinate with regional teams for resolution.
  • Support integration between Azure and on-premises environments.
  • Implement and maintain governance, policies, and access control per AXA standards.
  • Collaborate with project, development, and regional teams to design and optimize cloud solutions.
  • Prepare technical documentation and share knowledge within the team.

Qualifications

  1. Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or related field.
  2. Minimum 3 years' experience managing Microsoft Azure environments.
  3. Strong expertise in Azure provisioning, ARM templates, and resource management.
  4. Experience with Terraform (mandatory).

  5. Certifications required:

  6. Microsoft Certified: AZ-900 (Fundamentals)

  7. Microsoft Certified: AZ-104 (Administrator)
  8. HashiCorp Certified: Terraform Associate
  9. Experience in FinOps, cost optimization, and budget governance.
  10. Knowledge of networking, security, and identity management in Azure.
  11. Experience working with regional/global IT teams in a multinational environment.
  12. Good command of English and excellent teamwork skills.
