Potters (Thailand) Ltd. is seeking a talented Mechanical Engineer to join our dynamic team in our factory located in Bang Bor, Samut Prakan. As a Mechanical Engineer, you will play a crucial role in ensuring the smooth and efficient operation of our manufacturing processes. This is a full-time position that offers the opportunity to work in a fast-paced, collaborative environment and contribute to the success of our growing organization.
What you'll be doing
- Provides maintenance skill and professional mechanical engineering services to operational plant in the area of safety, quality, productivity, cost control.
- Providing technical support and troubleshooting for existing machinery and equipment.
- Plan and perform routine and annual preventive maintenance and provide other facilities for the smooth of operation.
- Manage contractors and oversee maintenance jobs, including shutdowns/turnarounds (scope, budget, manpower, execution).
- Collaborating with cross-functional teams to implement plant improvements and new technologies
- Documenting and maintaining accurate records of all engineering activities and decisions
- Staying up-to-date with industry trends and best practices to recommend innovative solutions
- Review procedure , work instruction up to date, and according to ISO 9001, ISO 14001, and ISO 45001
What we're looking for
- Bachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering or a related field
- Minimum 7- 10 years of experience as a Mechanical Engineer , Production Engineer within glass , ceramic, animal feed plant, a starch or wheat flour manufacturing, or other process plant with natural gas burner.
- Having a professional engineering license is an advantage.
- Having a Certified Energy Manager (for a factory) is an advantage.
- Strong safety mindset with deep understanding of plant safety requirements and risk assessments.
- Strong problem-solving and analytical skills with the ability to identify and resolve complex technical issues.
- Develop maintenance plans, schedules, and long-term strategies to improve equipment reliability and availability.
- Able to work under pressure, multitask, and make sound technical decisions independently.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills to collaborate effectively with cross-functional teams
- Familiarity with project management principles and experience in implementing process improvements
- Develop and maintain relationships with outside contractors.
- Adaptability and a willingness to learn new technologies and techniques.
