Responsibilities

  • Project Planning & Scheduling:

  • Create detailed construction plans and schedules (master, monthly, weekly) based on instructions from the Project Director and Project Manager.

  • Develop method statements by understanding the sequence of construction work.
  • Prepare and update the project's S-curve to track progress.

  • Coordination & Communication:

  • Coordinate effectively with contractors, suppliers, and internal team members.

  • Obtain and compare quotations from contractors based on design and material specifications.
  • Prepare weekly progress reports and present them to clients and management.

  • Documentation & Reporting:

  • Prepare documentation for material and shop drawing approvals.

  • Manage client inquiries and prepare Q&A documents.
  • Compile and prepare material lists for structural, architectural, and facade work.
  • Prepare monthly progress payment documentation for clients.
  • Take efficient and accurate meeting minutes.
Qualifications & Skills
  • Bachelor's Degree in Civil Engineering.
  • 4-8 years of experience in a planning or engineering role within the construction industry.
  • Proficiency in MS Office and AutoCAD.
  • Knowledge of SketchUp or Revit is a plus.
  • Good communication and writing skills in English.
Other Requirements
  • Capable of working on construction sites in various locations.
  • Ability to perform effectively in high-pressure situations.
  • Strong coordination and teamwork skills.
  • Punctual, reliable, and able to work overtime when necessary.
  • Interested in a long-term career with Thai Shimizu.
