About the Role We are seeking a highly motivated and detail-oriented Junior Accounts Receivable to join our Accounting and Finance Department. This entry-level position is crucial for enhancing our team's operational efficiency, ensuring precise billing, and establishing robust backup support (A/B duty rotation) for critical invoicing processes. The role is ideal for a recent graduate eager to start a career in corporate finance and accounting.
Key Responsibilities
Invoicing & Billing: Solely responsible for the timely and accurate generation and issuance of official Tax Invoices and supporting documents. Ensure all necessary approvals are obtained prior to releasing invoices to customers.
Data Verification & Control: Perform meticulous SKU (Stock Keeping Unit) checks and matching between product delivery documentation and the corresponding product codes listed on the invoices. Verify consistency between sales orders, delivery notes, and invoicing data to prevent discrepancies.
Documentation & Filing: Maintain an organized and precise digital and physical filing system for all invoices, credit notes, and supporting documentation. Assist in preparing summary reports related to daily billing volume and potential issuance delays.
Operational Support: Act as the designated A/B duty backup for the senior AR function to ensure continuity of billing and release processes, particularly during peak periods or staff absence. Collaborate closely with the Sales and Logistics departments to resolve any issues impacting timely invoice issuance.
Qualifications and Requirements
Education: A Bachelor's Degree in Accounting, Finance, Business Administration, or a related field. Recent graduates are strongly encouraged to apply.
Skills: Strong proficiency in Microsoft Excel and experience working with data sets. Excellent attention to detail and accuracy in data entry and verification. Solid understanding of basic accounting principles (e.g., accrual basis).
Personal Attributes: Ability to work independently and as part of a team in a fast-paced, high-volume environment. Proactive and strong organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple deadlines. Effective communication skills in English (both written and verbal).
Experience: Previous internship experience in accounting or finance is a plus, but not mandatory.
