KPMG Financial Management Consultant (FMC) Services is part of Financial Services Advisory specializing in helping our clients improve the finance and accounting process. We work with finance and accounting directors, internal audit directors, IT directors and audit committees to develop a quality finance and accounting function that delivers strategic business assurance, identifies business opportunities, and enhances organizational value. The scope of FMC functions is Accounting conversion services, Digital Financial Reporting Advisory, Technical accounting advisory, Financial reporting process, Regulatory report Accounting and Governance, and Finance Transformation.

We are looking for Manager with FS experience to join the team to focus on the following:

Responsibilities

  • Lead and deliver projects focused on finance transformation, accounting process improvement, and financial reporting optimization.
  • Provide technical accounting advisory and support clients in implementing new accounting standards and regulatory requirements.
  • Assist clients with accounting conversion services, including IFRS and other frameworks.
  • Advise on digital financial reporting solutions and automation opportunities.
  • Design and implement financial reporting processes, governance frameworks, and internal controls.
  • Collaborate with senior stakeholders to identify business risks and recommend actionable solutions.
  • Manage project teams, ensuring high-quality deliverables and client satisfaction.
  • Contribute to business development activities, including proposal preparation and client presentations.

Qualification

  • Bachelor's or master's degree in accounting, Finance, or a related discipline; CPA or equivalent professional qualification required/preferred.
  • Minimum 6 years of progressive experience in finance transformation, accounting advisory, audit, or financial reporting.
  • Strong practical knowledge of financial services (banking, leasing, insurance) and relevant regulatory requirements.
  • Proven experience leading workstreams or small-to-medium consulting projects.
  • Deep understanding of finance operating models, financial close processes, FP&A, or IFRS implementation of standards
  • Strong client-facing communication and stakeholder management skills.

  • Ability to mentor and manage junior team members.

  • Demonstrated ability to manage end-to-end project delivery, including planning, execution, and reporting.

  • Experience delivering finance transformation initiatives (e.g., process redesign, system implementation, data remediation).
  • Strong business acumen and ability to translate technical accounting into practical business impact.
  • Competency in digital finance tools (ERP systems, consolidation systems, reporting tools).
