We are seeking a highly analytical and business-minded Financial Analyst (Assistant Manager / Manager level) to support our CFO and GM in driving supply chain financial performance.

This role will work closely with Engineering, R&D, Procurement, and Sales/Marketing to lead product cost analysis, financial evaluations for supply chain projects, and cost projections for the company's business plan.

This is a key role for someone who enjoys cross-functional collaboration, deep-dive analysis, and influencing strategic business decisions.

Key Responsibilities

1. Product Cost Analysis (SKU Level)

  • Lead SKU-level product cost analysis using Activity-Based Costing (ABC).
  • Analyze product profitability, BOM, material usage, and cost drivers.
  • Partner with R&D and Engineering to validate cost structures for new and existing products.

2. Budgeting, Forecasting & Variance Tracking

  • Lead the cost budgeting process for annual business plans.
  • Prepare cost projections, scenario analysis, and monthly forecasts.
  • Monitor performance against plan, highlight variances, and provide insights for corrective actions.

3. Financial Evaluation for Supply Chain Projects & Investments

  • Conduct financial assessments for CAPEX investments, supply chain initiatives, and cost-saving projects.
  • Perform ROI, payback period, sensitivity, and feasibility analysis to support decision-making.
  • Work closely with Procurement and Engineering on sourcing and process improvement projects.

4. Data Management & Reporting

  • Manage and analyze databases to generate meaningful business insights.
  • Prepare management reports, dashboards, and analytical summaries for executive stakeholders.
  • Optimize reporting tools and financial models for continuous improvement.

5. Cross-Functional Collaboration

  • Work with Engineering, R&D, Supply Chain, and Sales/Marketing teams to understand operations and business drivers.
  • Support cross-functional initiatives aimed at cost optimization and process efficiency.

Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree in finance, Accounting, Business Management (Finance major), or related fields
  • Master's degree in finance/accounting is an advantage
  • Strong understanding of financial accounting principles, budgeting, forecasting, and performance management
  • Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to interpret complex financial data and translate it into actionable insights
  • Proficient in the use of financial modelling and data analysis tools, such as Excel, Power BI, and SQL
  • Demonstrated experience in leading and mentoring financial analysts or junior team members
  • Strong communication and presentation skills, with the ability to effectively liaise with both financial and non-financial stakeholders.
