Key Responsibilities:

1. Accounting Operations

  • Assist in managing daily accounting activities, including general ledger, journal entries, and bank reconciliations.
  • Oversee accounts payable, accounts receivable, and payroll functions.
  • Ensure timely and accurate month-end and year-end closings.
  • Prepare and review financial statements and management reports.

2. Financial Analysis & Reporting

  • Analyze financial data and prepare variance reports to support management decisions.
  • Assist in budgeting and forecasting processes.
  • Maintain accurate financial records in compliance with GAAP/IFRS.

3. Software & Systems Management

  • Use and manage accounting software (e.g., SAP, QuickBooks, Oracle NetSuite, Xero, or similar) to record and analyze financial transactions.
  • Generate reports and dashboards directly from accounting systems.
  • Support system upgrades, automation, and integration with other financial tools.
  • Ensure accuracy, security, and integrity of accounting data within the system.

4. Compliance & Audit

  • Ensure compliance with internal policies, tax regulations, and statutory requirements.
  • Assist in preparing documents for internal and external audits.
  • Maintain strong internal controls and recommend improvements.
