Internship Program — Thailand

Siam Seaplane

Siam Seaplane is looking for interns for the following departments: Partnerships & Business Development, Operations, Finance, and Marketing. Other specific areas may also be open for consideration. The internships are active all year round but are limited by the availability within each department. Please specify what department you are interested in joining. Please note, this internship requires Thai nationality or foreigners with an appropriate visa, as well as good communication skills in both English and Thai. This is not a pilot position, and internships are not remote.

What You Will Do
For all Departments:

• Learn about aviation, seaplanes, hospitality and lifestyle, and building a startup from the early stages into a thriving commercial business operation
• Provide assistance on administrative tasks, such as organisation of meetings, note taking, accepting and forwarding calls, office visits, site visits, and other logistical components
• Work across different departments on any other areas of the business, based on company's need, personal skills and interest when capacity allows

Marketing

• Coordinate social media posts and scheduling, and assist on wider social media and marketing strategies
• Run ads on social media and ad networks, track performance, and create reports and strategies
• Collaborate with influencers and other media representatives
• Create engaging marketing content for social media, website, newsletters, partners and other materials
• Work across all brands of the company, including Siam Seaplane, Siam Aero Services, Siam Scenic, and Jetboard Thailand

Operations

• Participate in the establishment and execution of the technical and operational processes, flight management, maintenance and engineering, ground operations, and/or quality and safety.

Finance

• Record the invoices of company expenses on the online accounting platform
• Create and log reimbursement forms to account for employee expenses
• Upload and file company invoices, receipts, and payment confirmations in the company's cloud storage
• Sort out and arrange the necessary documents/information/paperwork as required from the Department of Business Development (DBD)
• Assist in preparing financial reporting documents on a monthly basis, including balance sheets, income statements, and cash flow statements, and others as need arises

Partnerships And Business Development

• Support in the development and execution of sales strategies. Such as: identifying potential new partners, providing research and analysis to the team, helping to develop and execute pitches, and tracking the success of developments
• Analyse data to track partners and sales list. Understanding different tools and interpreting the data and identifying areas where the company can improve its partnerships and sales initiatives
• Pricing and commercial models

What You Need To Have

• Currently study, or recently graduated, from related fields. Bachelor's or Master's program
• Being excited about hospitality, aviation industry, lifestyle & providing only the best services to guests
• Some regulatory experience is a plus
• Knowledge of aviation operations and processes, especially for internships in Operations
• Showing initiative and being proactive, detail-oriented, and ideally be good with numbers
• Good communication skills in both English and Thai. Chinese and other languages are a plus
• High level of efficiency, accuracy, responsibility, and attention to detail
• Have a polite, professional and positive attitude
• Own a laptop
• Thai nationality or foreigners with appropriate visa (for internships we do not provide visa support and work permits for foreigners)

Knowledge or experience in the following programs or fields are a plus:

• Marketing: Meta (Facebook) Business Manager, Canva or Adobe, Google Analytics, Mailchimp, and Webflow
• Partnerships and Business Development: Mailchimp and Hubspot
• Operations: Any experience in CAAT, EASA and FAA regulation. Specific experience or technical knowledge related to your interested field within Operations is a plus.
• Finance: Basic understanding of accounting and ability to read financial statements.
