Cloud & Middleware Administrator

• Day-to-Day Operations & Support:

Provide 24/7 production support and proactive monitoring of system health. Resolve incidents and service requests promptly to meet strict SLAs for both on-premise and AWS environments.

• Oracle Middleware Administration:

Lead the installation, configuration, and maintenance of Oracle WebLogic Server, Oracle Business Process Management (BPM), and Oracle Service Bus (OSB).

• Application Deployment & Integration:

Manage complex deployments and service integrations. Ensure that the Oracle Bus is optimized for high-performance message routing and data transformation.

• Performance Tuning:

Perform deep-dive diagnostics, including JVM tuning, heap/thread dump analysis, and database connection pool optimization to ensure the stability of BPM and OSB workflows.

• AWS Cloud Management:

Manage and scale AWS resources including VPC, EC2, S3, EKS, and Lambda. Align cloud infrastructure with middleware requirements for hybrid-cloud connectivity.

• Automation & IAC:

Develop and maintain automation scripts using Ansible, Terraform, or CloudFormation to streamline middleware provisioning and application release cycles (CI/CD).

• System Resiliency:

Lead disaster recovery planning and execution for middleware components, ensuring robust failover mechanisms are in place across hybrid environments.

• Collaboration & Governance:

Partner with development teams to provide architectural guidance on best practices for deploying Oracle-based services on AWS.

• Cost Visibility & Reporting:

Implement and manage  Cloud Cost Explorer and Budgets to track middleware spend. And provide recommend  for reduce costs with DEV Team.

• Rightsizing & Resource Lifecycle:

Regularly audit EC2, RDS, and EKS clusters to identify underutilized resources. Execute "Rightsizing" initiatives to move workloads to smaller, more cost-effective instance types.

Middleware Job Description

Responsibilities:

• Install configure  and performance tuning Application Server
• Monitor health, utilization and performance and suggest improvement with dev team
• Work closely with IT project managers,  programmers and multimedia programmers
• Manage the security, backup  and disaster recovery aspects of a middleware and OS.
• Basic shell script for monitoring and automate
• Develop and automate solutions directly related to Continuous Integration (CI/CD) or infrastructure automation (Ansible)
• Control access permissions and privileges
• Support on an incident resolution in a timely manner as defined with IT SLA
• Communicate regularly with technical, applications and operational staff to ensure Middleware integrity and security
• Experience of  WebLogic and Open Source  is preferable.

• Provide top-tier production support for day-to-day operations, including proactive production monitoring, incident resolution, problem-solving, and application deployments on both on-premise infrastructure and AWS Cloud.
• Offer guidance, recommendations, and establish governance for cross-functional teams to ensure the successful execution of projects on the AWS Cloud platform.
• Collaborate to enhance system resiliency, aiming to reduce incidents, and lead the development of automated solutions that streamline operational tasks and decrease manual intervention.
• Demonstrate an in-depth understanding of Linux operating systems, effectively diagnosing and resolving issues as they arise.
• Utilize your comprehensive experience with a range of AWS services, including but not limited to VPC, Transit Gateway, EC2, S3, ECS, EKS, Fargate, Lambda, ALB, Hybrid Cloud, and more.
• Create and refine automation processes, particularly focusing on CI/CD pipelines, configuration management tools like Ansible, and Infrastructure as Code (IAC) tools such as Terraform or CloudFormation.
• Previous exposure to Oracle WebLogic (On-Premise) will be considered an advantage, contributing to your effectiveness in the role.

Qualifications:

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field; or equivalent work experience.
• Solid command of Linux operating systems, with the ability to diagnose and troubleshoot issues effectively.
• Extensive hands-on experience with AWS services, including VPC setup, Transit Gateway configuration, EC2 instance management, S3 data storage, ECS/EKS cluster orchestration, Lambda functions, ALB configuration, and Hybrid Cloud implementations.
• Familiarity with Oracle WebLogic (On-Premise) is a plus.
• Excellent communication skills and a collaborative mindset to effectively work within cross-functional teams.
• AWS certification(s) will be highly advantageous.
