About the role

Gardens of Eden is seeking an experienced Signal Man to join our team in Thalang, Phuket. As a Signal Man, you will be responsible for providing clear and precise signals to crane operators, ensuring the safe and efficient movement of materials on our construction sites. This is a full-time position, and you will be based in our Thalang location.

What you'll be doing

1. Communicate clear, standardised hand signals to crane operators to guide the movement of loads
2. Ensure the safe and efficient loading, unloading, and placement of materials on construction sites
3. Coordinate with other construction workers to maintain a safe and organised work environment
4. Monitor the work area and identify any potential hazards or risks
5. Adhere to all health and safety regulations and company policies
6. Participate in ongoing training and development to stay up-to-date with industry best practices

What we're looking for

1. Minimum 2 years of experience as a Signal Man or similar role in the construction industry
2. Thorough understanding of crane operation and hand signaling protocols
3. Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
4. Strong attention to detail and the ability to work in a fast-paced environment
5. Commitment to safety and a proactive approach to identifying and mitigating risks
6. Physical fitness and the ability to work outdoors in varying weather conditions
