About the role

As a Material Resource Planning Officer (Contract) at Schaeffler Manufacturing (Thailand) Co., Ltd., you will play a crucial role in optimising the company's supply chain and production processes. This full-time position is based in Chonburi and offers an exciting opportunity to contribute to the success of a leading manufacturing organisation.

What you'll be doing

Purchasing

  • Request quotation from IC supplier for trading products, always explore potentials to reduce lead time.
  • Execute purchasing functions from PR/PO creation and order confirmation to monitoring of stock available to deliver at supplier side
  • Work and coordinate closely with IC/external suppliers to ensure efficient supply chain operations at all time to support VLS AP business.
  • Review purchase planning and coordinate order changes with IC/External suppliers
  • Monitor supplier delivery service level and solve backlog issues with IC/external suppliers.
  • Work with finance department about invoicing checking & payment arrangement.

Inbound Logistic & Warehousing

  • Following inbound shipment and monitor the Estimated Time Arrival of the goods.
  • Work with Logistic SEA colleague about actual inbound goods receiving result and close monitoring on GR posting.
  • Logistic complaint handling related to inbound shipment like shortage, over shipment, wrong shipment, rusty etc.

Other job as assigned.

What we're looking for

  1. University degree, preferably in SCM/Logistic or Business Administration.
  2. 2-3 years' experience in Material Management / Supply Chain.
  3. APICS CPIM certification or equivalent is an advantage.
  4. Able to work independently and highly goal oriented.
  5. Team player and excellent communication skills
  6. Strong analytical skills, highly motivated and enthusiastic self-starter.
  7. English, fluently spoken and written.
  8. Expert in MS Office (Excel/Access)
  9. SAP R/3 modules MM
  10. Relevant experience in material resource planning, supply chain management or a similar role
  11. Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with the ability to interpret data and make informed decisions
  12. Excellent communication and interpersonal skills to effectively collaborate with stakeholders
  13. Proficiency in using material resource planning software and related tools
  14. Knowledge of manufacturing processes and supply chain best practices
  15. Ability to work in a fast-paced, dynamic environment and adapt to changing priorities
