Key Responsibilities

Electrical Quality Supervision

  • Oversee construction quality control and inspection of electrical systems, including high/low voltage distribution, UPS, bus ducts, lighting, grounding, and low-voltage systems.
  • Conduct inspections and record installation processes (wiring, grounding, cable laying, etc.) according to drawings, specifications, and ITP requirements.
  • Track, verify, and close non-conformities (NCRs) after rectification.
  • Ensure electrical installation quality meets Chinese standards and international consultant standards (IEC, IEEE, NFPA).

Technical Review and Coordination

  • Review electrical construction drawings, material approvals (MAR), testing & commissioning plans, and related documentation.
  • Facilitate coordination and communication between Chinese technical teams and Thai consultants/PMCs to ensure consistent understanding.
  • Organize, translate, and provide feedback on consultant review comments; support the resolution and closure of identified issues.
  • Provide technical support and assist in issue verification during on-site testing, commissioning, and inspections.

Quality Documentation & Approvals

  • Prepare and maintain electrical quality documentation such as inspection checklists, test reports, ITR forms, and other quality records.
  • Assist in compiling acceptance documents for FAT/SAT, system commissioning, and final handover.
  • Participate in verification and archiving of as-built drawings and related documents.

Testing & Commissioning Management

  • Work with the commissioning team to carry out system tests (insulation resistance, grounding resistance, functional testing, generator parallel testing, etc.).
  • Review test results to ensure compliance with standards and owner requirements.
  • Coordinate MEP interface testing (HVAC, BMS, Fire Alarm, etc.) during system integration testing.

System & Safety Compliance

  • Implement the company's QA/QC procedures and ISO 9001 standards.
  • Ensure electrical installations and testing comply with Thai regulations (PEA/MEA) and relevant international requirements.
  • Participate in EHS inspections to ensure electrical construction safety compliance.

Training & Cross-Cultural Support

  • Guide local construction teams, electricians, and quality inspectors in understanding Chinese standards and technical requirements.
  • Train document controllers and quality inspectors on proper completion and submission of quality records.
  • Support the project team in effective communication with PMC and stakeholders.

Job Specifications / Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering, Power Engineering, Mechatronics, or related fields.
  • Minimum 5 years of experience in electrical installation and quality management for large-scale construction or data center projects; experience with Chinese or international contractors is an advantage.
  • Strong knowledge of international electrical codes (IEC, IEEE, NFPA) and Thai standards; able to read electrical drawings, wiring diagrams, and single-line diagrams.
  • Proficient in AutoCAD, MS Office, PDF markup/annotation tools, and QA/QC reporting templates.
  • Detail-oriented with a strong sense of responsibility, excellent communication skills, and the ability to work in a cross-cultural environment.
  • Able to handle high-intensity project schedules and deadlines.
  • Good command of English; Chinese language skills are an advantage.
