Senior Export

RESPONSIBILITIES:

Senior Export & Logistics Specialists manage international shipments, ensuring all export operations, documentation, and customs processes are handled efficiently and compliantly and ensure smooth workflow for outbound freight. Key responsibilities include coordinating with various teams and service providers, resolving issues, and optimizing logistics for cost-efficiency.

KEY ACCOUNTABILITIES

• Manage export documentation:
  Oversee all necessary paperwork, such as customs declarations, for international shipments.
• Coordinate international shipping:
  Manage international and domestic transportation, including air, sea, or road freight.
• Ensure customs compliance:
  Ensure all export processes comply with relevant regulations and standards.
• Supervise logistics teams:
  Lead and guide the plant's logistics team responsible for import-export formalities and transportation.
• Inventory and warehouse management:
  Oversee inventory levels and warehouse operations to ensure efficient stock control and smooth workflow.
• Liaise with stakeholders:
  Act as a key point of contact between various parties, including suppliers, customs agents, freight forwarders, and internal departments.
• Process improvement:
  Identify and propose improvements to optimize logistics operations in terms of cost and quality.
• Problem-solving:
  Proactively address and resolve issues that may arise during the export process, such as disputes or delays.

KEY REQUIREMENTS

Education
: bachelor's degree in business administration or related field.

Experience
: 3-5 years for Supply Chain Management, Logistics, or a related field.

Familiarity with import-export formalities, customs clearance, and relevant regulations.

Know-how/skills
: Good working knowledge of SAP and have experience in Supply Chain Management, Logistics, and warehousing.

Expertise in areas like customs regulations, freight forwarding, and supply chain management is critical.
