This position is being recruited by Learn Bridge Recruitment, the talent & organizational partner within a leading Thai industrial and real estate ecosystem. We are seeking a seasoned senior finance leader to take on an acting CFO–level remit for the group's Vietnam business.

In this role, you will be based in Bangkok under the Thai holding company and serve as the key finance lead for the group's Vietnam entities, with a clear development path towards a future CFO position in Vietnam.

Key responsibilities

  • Own end-to-end finance and accounting oversight for the Vietnam entities, including group reporting and consolidation.
  • Partner with finance and accounting teams in Thailand and Vietnam to ensure timely, accurate month-end closing and management reporting.
  • Lead budgeting, forecasting, cash flow management, and financial analysis to support strategic decisions and investments in Vietnam.
  • Work closely with senior management in Thailand and Vietnam on investment planning and major projects in Vietnam industrial estates.
  • Act as the central finance contact (shared service model) for the Vietnam portfolio, ensuring alignment with group finance policies, standards, and controls.
  • Participate in regular online meetings and travel to Vietnam for business trips (approximately 1–2 times per month, subject to business needs).

Qualifications

  • Experienced senior finance professional with strong executive presence and the ability to influence senior stakeholders.
  • Bachelor's degree in Finance, Accounting, or a related field from a reputable university; a Master's degree is an advantage.
  • 12–15+ years of progressive experience in finance and accounting, including several years at Manager/Senior Manager level or equivalent.
  • Demonstrated stability in career history
  • Solid background in group reporting and/or financial consolidation in a holding or group company environment.
  • Excellent command of English, confident communicating with senior executives and cross-border teams.
  • Willing and able to travel to Vietnam regularly for business trips.
  • Comfortable operating in a listed-company or large corporate setting with multiple stakeholders.
  • Professional qualifications such as CFA or similar are a strong plus.
  • Prior exposure to Vietnam or to industries such as industrial estates, real estate, manufacturing, or infrastructure will be considered an advantage.
