Responsibilities:

  • Develop and maintain HW/SW of test stations for PCBA and module level testing
  • Provide technical leadership to our manufacturing partners to bring up, troubleshoot and maintain production testers.
  • Manage our manufacturing partners to fulfill the test capacity requirements and to improve test yields.
  • Conduct PCBA and photonic module failure analysis of production fallouts
  • Develop product troubleshooting and rework procedures
  • Document tester requirements/specification and manage tester vendors to develop testers

Deliverables:

  • Root cause analysis reports or Buganizer entries to document PCBA or module troubleshooting findings.
  • Documentation of tester and production unit troubleshooting procedures.
  • Log or Buganizer entries for tester maintenance records.
  • Log or Buganizer entries for troubleshooting results.
  • Tester designs, schematics, test requirements, etc.
  • SW codes
  • Test yield analysis and reports
  • Tester qualification analysis and reports

Required Skill & Experience:

  • BS, or MS degree in Electrical Engineering, Electronic Engineering, Computer Engineering, Robotics or relevant disciplines
  • Strong experience in digital interfaces
  • Strong hands-on EE lab skills, including PCBA bringing-up, testing and troubleshooting
  • Experience in Python software development
  • Strong experience in test operations for volume production
  • Strong experience in managing contract manufacturers
  • Good communication skills in English
