About the role

At Stars Microelectronics (Thailand) Public Company Limited, we are seeking a highly skilled Senior Buyer (Chinese Speaking) to join our team in Ayutthaya. This is a full-time position that plays a crucial role in our retail and consumer goods operations. As a Senior Buyer, you will be responsible for overseeing the procurement process, ensuring the timely acquisition of high-quality materials and supplies to support our business objectives.

Job Responsibilities

  • Analyze procurement requirements to ensure materials meet company specifications and standards.
  • Negotiate with suppliers on pricing, quantities, delivery schedules, and exclusivity agreements.
  • Prepare and deliver weekly purchase order reports, including invoice numbers for all closed orders.
  • Develop and maintain strong, long-term relationships with key suppliers and vendors.
  • Implement purchasing strategies and monitor inventory levels to ensure adequate supply.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to forecast demand and mitigate supply chain risks.
  • Ensure compliance with company policies, procurement guidelines, and regulatory requirements.
  • Manage administrative tasks related to purchase orders and supply agreements.
  • Stay informed about industry trends, emerging products, and innovations to improve efficiency.

Job Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree in Business, Supply Chain Management, or a related field.
  • Minimum 5 years' proven experience as a Buyer in the manufacturing industry.
  • Strong negotiation skills with a solid understanding of market dynamics.
  • Proficiency in Excel, MS Office, and ERP systems (SAP preferred).
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills; proficiency in Chinese is a plus.
  • Ability to work independently while managing multiple priorities.
  • Team-oriented mindset with the ability to collaborate effectively across departments
