Key Responsibilities

  • Oversee the preparation and accuracy of all relevant export and import documents, including customs declarations, packing lists, and commercial invoices, ensuring compliance and completeness.
  • Manage the timely and accurate submission of declaration information to customs, detailing goods description, quantity, and value, to ensure smooth and efficient customs clearance.
  • Stay current with all relevant customs laws, regulations, and policies to guarantee the company's import/export operations are fully compliant with legal requirements, thereby mitigating risks of violations.
  • Maintain and manage comprehensive data records for all import and export goods, tracking flow, quantity, and value for timely reporting, statistical analysis, and internal inquiries.
  • Act as the primary liaison between the company and external parties, including customs authorities, logistics providers, and international customers, to ensure seamless customs clearance and timely delivery of goods.
  • Proactively identify, analyze, and address potential risks related to international trade, such as tariff changes, classification issues, or prohibited items, implementing necessary measures to prevent operational disruptions.

Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree or higher required, preferably in International Trade, Logistics Management, International Business, or a related field.
  • Prior professional experience in customs clearance, customs declaration, or international trade operations is strongly preferred.
  • Strong understanding of import and export business processes, customs regulations, and operational procedures.
  • Good English communication skills (both written and verbal) are essential for handling foreign-related documents and correspondence.
  • Proficient in using Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, etc.) for data management and reporting.
  • Must be meticulous, patient, and possess a strong sense of responsibility with a proactive and collaborative teamwork spirit.
