We are seeking a dedicated and experienced ​​Pet Food Quality Assurance (QA) Engineer​​ to join our team at our ​​pet food in Thailand​​. The QA Engineer will be responsible for ensuring that all pet food products meet the highest standards of ​​quality, safety, and regulatory compliance​​ throughout the production process. This includes monitoring raw materials, in-process controls, finished products, and ensuring adherence to both ​​local Thai regulations​​ and ​​international pet food quality standards​​ (such as GMP, HACCP, BRC, ISO, FDA, SMETA etc.).

Job responsibilities:

  • Responsible for the quality management support of pet food OEM, pet food raw material supplier and pet food packaging material supplier development process.
  • Responsible for the development of pet food process control points and finished product quality standards and responsible for the implementation of standards and points.
  • Responsible for pet food research and development process testing support.
  • Responsible for the quality technical support of pet food production in China and Southeast Asian countries;
  • Responsible for identifying the relevant regulations and requirements of the main export destination countries (including America, Australia, New Zealand and the European Union and other regions),and provide relevant support to the project team during the development processes.
  • Responsible for follow-up and disposal of abnormal quality of pet food.
  • Responsible for the planning and construction of pet food inspection room as required.
  • Organized special knowledge training for pet food for the project team as required.
  • Cooperate with the team's project requirements for other operations

Qualifications :

  • Bachelor's degree in ​​Food Science, Food Technology, Veterinary Science, Chemistry, Biology​​, or a related field.
  • More than 5 years of pet food quality management experience (dry food, wet food, pet staple food, snack quality management experience is preferred)
  • Basic understanding of domestic and foreign pet food regulations and standards
  • Have some experience in supplier management
  • Knowledge of ​​export requirements​​ for pet food (e.g., to EU, US, Australia)
  • Familiar with pet food related inspection
  • Strong principle, strong judgment
  • Good communication and problem solving skills, down-to-earth work spirit
  • Strong initiative
  • Good oral English is preferred
