Deputy Manager: SOC Operations

About the Role

Cynclair is building the future of AI-native Security Operations. Our Azurites OpenXDR platform and Cyber Concierge model redefine how SOCs operate — combining automation, explainable AI, and customer-first service.

We're looking for a SOC Deputy Manager to serve as the operational and technical right hand to our Director of Operations. This role ensures investigations are accurate, clear, and business-relevant — while mentoring analysts and driving operational excellence.

Location

On-Site, Rangsit (Pathum Thani)

Key Responsibilities

·       Act as the escalation point for advanced investigations.

·       Translate technical findings into business impact language for managers and clients.

·       Guide analysts in using Azurites, AI-assisted playbooks, and detection logic aligned to MITRE ATT&CK.

·       Oversee SOC operations, ensuring SLA adherence and report clarity.

·       Mentor and grow the next generation of SOC analysts.

·       Validate AI-assisted investigations for accuracy and relevance.

·       Continuously improve detection, playbooks, and AI workflows.

What We're Looking For

· years of SOC/IR/threat hunting experience.

·       Strong technical expertise across SIEM, SOAR, EDR, and threat intel.

·       Able to be the primary technical / SOC authority to support customer engagements and lead onboardings, bridging between Customer Success and Product Teams.

·       Ability to bridge technical depth with executive-level communication.

·       Leadership and mentorship experience in a SOC environment.

·       Familiarity with MITRE ATT&CK, NIST CSF, and Thai PDPA/NCSA regulations (preferred).

Performance Metrics

·       Number of Customers Successfully Onboarded

·       Time to Value; Onboarding Speed

·       Report Accuracy & Clarity: % of reports passing without major rewrite.

·       Critical Escalation SLA: % of incidents escalated and resolved within SLA.

·       AI Validation Impact: Reduction in false positives/negatives from AI-assisted investigations.

·       Team Enablement: Analyst progression into advanced roles; improved CSAT feedback.
