About the role

We are seeking a talented Planning Officer to join our dynamic team at Nidec Electronics (Thailand) Co., Ltd. As a Planning Officer, you will be responsible for playing a crucial role in our production and logistics operations, ensuring efficient coordination and scheduling to meet our business objectives.

What you'll be doing

  • To check and approve forecast plan from subordinate to bring in direct / indirect mat'l base on Motor requirement per master plan.
  • To check and approve the purchase request plan from subordinate to buy material to support production line.
  • Establishes and Maintain function and revise policy procedure.
  • Process purchase order and ensure vendors provide with good and accurate delivery schedule.
  • To Supplier selection and new purchasing among Nidec group first before buying other suppliers.
  • Provide reporting and analysis to support decision-making and strategic planning
  • Flows materials to support expectation production line.
  • Controls and maintains inventory accuracy to meet target.
  • Reports inventory and inventory target. Manages section to meet factory expectations.

What we're looking for

  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to collaborate effectively across different teams
  • Proficient in using planning and scheduling software, as well as Microsoft Office applications
  • A Bachelor's degree in Supply Chain Management, Industrial Engineering, or a related field
  • Experience in Purchasing & Planning
