QA Analyst

ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS:

• Define and lead the QA strategy, test planning, and quality processes to ensure high product quality across releases
• Collaborate with engineering, product, and design teams to review requirements, identify risks, and align on quality expectations early in the development cycle
• Oversee and contribute to the development of comprehensive test plans, test cases, and automated test scripts
• Establish, maintain, and improve automated testing frameworks and CI pipelines to drive efficient and reliable test execution
• Work closely with QA manage, promoting skill development, test ownership, and continuous improvement
• Monitor quality metrics, track defects, and communicate test results and risks to stakeholders clearly and proactively
• Ensure adequate test coverage for functional, non-functional (e.g., performance, security), and regression testing
• Drive root cause analysis and quality improvements in response to production issues or test failures
• Advocate for a quality-first mindset across the engineering team and contribute to the overall software development process

POSITION QUALIFICATIONS:

• BSc in Computer Science or similar relevant field
• Proven experience in both manual and automated software testing, with a strong focus on quality engineering
• Proficiency with test automation tools and frameworks (e.g., Selenium, Appium, Postman, Cypress, Playwright)
• Solid understanding of QA methodologies, software development lifecycle (SDLC), and Agile processes
• Ability to work collaboratively with cross-functional teams such as developers, product owners, project managers, and designers
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with attention to detail
• Effective leadership and communication skills, with experience mentoring QA engineers and working cross-functionally
• Knowledge of bug tracking, test case management, and collaboration tools (e.g., Jira, TestRail, Confluence)
