Slider Quality Engineer

About Our Group:
We are part of the RHO (Recording Head Organization) embedded in the Global Quality Organization, which responds to overall quality monitoring of Seagate product shipping to customers. The big organization has an E2E product quality monitoring from upstream to downstream (Incoming Material through Field Customers).
About the Role – You will:
● Perform slider quality and continuously monitor the product performance
● Inform, alert, set up/lead a meeting and coordinate with the product cross-functional teams on the investigation finding when product quality is out of control limit
● Collaborate with Manufacturing Engineering, Equipment Engineering, Factory IT and Product Development teams Apply End-to-End data analytics for the root cause investigation and validation
● Continue to improve product outgoing quality performance (DPPM) to be at a good sustainable level below the internal trigger limit and validate good product integration quality at the customer
● Initiate and develop a project to apply with slider quality monitoring
About You:
● *Good communication in both Thai and English languages (Minimum TOEIC 550)*
● Highly motivated, passionate, organized, observant and self-disciplined individually
● High competency in data analysis and problem-solving, good creativity, detail-oriented, and a strong team player
● Good leadership and demonstrated the ability to lead the team toward the product quality goal in both internal and external metrics
● Able to work in a fast-paced environment and working with multiple priorities
● Good interpersonal skills
Your experience includes:
• Bachelor's degree or higher in Engineering fields or relevant experience (Computer Engineering or Computer Science is preferable)
• Relatively good Programming and Statistical knowledge are preferred
• AI/ML background is preferrable
• Problem solving with 5D/8D concept
• Storage and/or Hard Disk Drive industry experience is preferred

Location: Korat, Thailand
Our Korat facility is our largest manufacturing site worldwide, with more than 10,000 employees.
