Senior Mechanical Engineer

ResponsibilitiesPrepare engineering documents, design jigs, fixtures, and production support tools, understand well and oversee all issues regarding Mechanical Engineering to support production lines (Injection, Assembly Lines).Plan, direct, and monitor all mechanical activities to maximize production efficiency based on TPM approach by coordinating with Production (Injection, Assembly Lines) to stabilize machinery performance.Focus on Planned Maintenance (PM), Autonomous Maintenance (AM), Education Training (ET) pillars in training, advice to maintenance and operation people to have good practical in keeping machine in good condition, appropriate autonomous maintenance, and operation correctly without machine breakdown and unsafe conditions & actions including extending machine lifetime.Support to Quality Maintenance (QM) and Focused Improvement (FI) pillars in losses reduction and focus on improving quality level supporting reducing defects loss, break down loss and materials loss or else as in loss cost matrix.Support to Early Management (EM) or Initial Phase (IP) pillar in new machine and new products trial run such as new jig & fixture design.Prepare and utilize all required resources to support production activity and delivery schedule.Monitor and control daily progress of works in all the production processes to ensure performance aligning with the committed schedules.Run daily/weekly/monthly meetings with subordinates, the Process Improvement Engineering Supervisor (PIE SV) and all relevant parties to find out gaps and root causes and set counter measures and action plan and have a daily follow up until all troubles are resolved.Summarize weekly & monthly report for maintenance tasks (issues, back log, pending, closing, ongoing status) and make analysis for breakdown cases by why-why or PM analysis and reduce repeat cases by preventive actions set up and follow up.Summarize report in term of monthly, yearly maintenance expense based on budget and counter measure implementation if there are some gaps happenedSupport Process Improvement Engineering Supervisor (PIE SV) in driving Continuous Improvement based on Lean manufacturing through TPM and TQM.In collaboration with others to make best practice in supporting all requirements based on ISO9001, ISO14001, OHSAS18001 or ISO45001, 5S, etc.Perform other related duties as required by superior.Design and modify machinery/equipment to enhance productivity, reduce waste, and minimize production costsQualificationsOver than 10 years of experience in Mechanical Engineering in Manufacturing Plants.Bachelor's degree or higher in Mechanical Engineering, Mechatronics, or a related fieldStrong analytical and problem-solving skills with tools such as 5Why, Fishbone Diagram, SPC.Proficient in AutoCAD, SolidWorks, or other 2D/3D design software, CMMS, MS-Office, Advanced MS-Excel, and other software.Intermediate or excellent professional communication, written & spoken, in English (TOEICS > 550) and Thai language is a must.Basic knowledge in electrical systems, pneumatic or hydraulic systems is an advantage.Good teamwork and communication skills.
