Key Responsibilities
  1. Material Requirement Planning

    Plan and evaluate material requirements by checking stock availability, monitoring in-transit materials, and ensuring the readiness of finished parts to meet customer delivery schedules.
  2. Supplier & Purchase Order Follow-Up

    Coordinate with Purchasing and Warehouse teams to track supplier delivery status and ensure that all materials arrive on schedule to prevent shortages.
  3. System Updating & Inventory Transactions

    Accurately update and maintain material data in IWIS, SAP, or Excel, ensuring all records are correct, complete, and up to date.
  4. Issue Reporting & Problem Resolution

    Report material delays or shortages to the supervisor and collaborate with relevant departments to resolve issues and maintain smooth production and delivery flow.
  5. Data Analysis Support

    Support the analysis of material consumption trends to reduce excess inventory and improve planning efficiency.
  6. Cross-Functional Coordination

    Collaborate with Warehouse, Transportation, Production, Suppliers, and Customers to prioritize tasks and minimize disruptions to warehouse and material flow operations.
  7. Inventory Reporting

    Prepare weekly and monthly inventory reports, including outstanding issues, and provide updates to relevant departments for decision-making.
  8. Analyze Demand, Usage, and Inbound–Outbound Data

    Evaluate demand patterns, material usage, and inbound/outbound movements to ensure alignment with planning accuracy and production requirements.
  9. Design and Improve Workflows and Material Flow Processes

    Develop and optimize workflows, material flow strategies, planning processes, and inventory logic to enhance operational efficiency.
  10. Root Cause Analysis for Material Shortage/Excess

    Investigate the underlying causes of material shortages or excess inventory and propose practical corrective and preventive actions.
  11. Cross-Functional Implementation

    Coordinate with Warehouse, Purchasing, and Engineering teams to implement new procedures, planning methods, and material management improvements.
  12. Monitor Improvement Projects

    Track progress of improvement initiatives, evaluate results, and report outcomes and recommendations to the supervisor.
  13. Develop Planning Tools & Dashboards

    Create and enhance planning tools such as Excel templates (PivotTables, Power Query, forecasting models), dashboards, and logic for reorder points and safety stock calculations.
  14. Design Operational Workflows and Documentation

    Develop end-to-end workflows for operations teams, including work instructions (WI), standard operating procedures (SOP), and required supporting documents.
Qualifications
  1. Bachelor's degree in Industrial Engineering, Logistics Engineering, Supply Chain Management, or Operations Management
  2. 1–3 years of experience in Planning, MRP, Supply Chain, or Production Planning
  3. Proficient in Microsoft Excel (Intermediate–Advanced) including VLOOKUP/XLOOKUP, PivotTables, Index-Match, and basic forecasting
  4. Strong understanding of MRP principles, Inventory Control (EOQ, ROP, Safety Stock), and Material Flow
  5. Solid quantitative and analytical skills
  6. Strong communication, coordination, and on-site problem-solving abilities.
Experience
  1. Minimum 2 years of experience in Material Planning, Logistics, Warehouse Operations, or Production Planning.
  2. Experience in industries such as packaging, automotive parts, or supply chain operations is an advantage.
  3. Hands-on experience working with ERP/MRP systems (e.g., SAP, Oracle, or in-house systems).
Technical Knowledge & Skills
  1. Basic knowledge of material calculation, inventory management, and stock control principles.
  2. Proficient in Microsoft Excel with practical ability to apply formulas and analytical tools.
  3. Understanding of material flow, planning logic, and key supply chain processes is preferred.
Communication & Interpersonal Skills
  1. Strong communication skills with the ability to effectively collaborate with Warehouse, Purchasing, Customers, Suppliers, and Transportation teams.
  2. Able to coordinate tasks, manage priorities, and solve operational issues proactively.
  3. Capable of writing clear business reports and professional emails.
