Solution Architecture

Job Purpose

To lead the design and governance of the organization's IT architecture, ensuring it is robust, secure, flexible, and scalable. This role is crucial for supporting the company's business strategy and digital growth, while establishing technology standards and governance in compliance with financial institution regulations.

Key Responsibilities

1. Architecture Design & Strategy:

2. Translate business requirements into comprehensive end-to-end solution architectures, encompassing Business, Data, Application, and Technology domains.

3. Develop and maintain the Enterprise Architecture blueprint, covering both the current state (As-Is) and the target state (To-Be), and formulate a strategic implementation roadmap.

4. Define and enforce architecture principles, standards, and best practices for technology design and development across the organization.

5. Research and evaluate emerging technologies to drive competitive advantage and optimize costs.

6. Governance & Security:

7. Act as a key member of the Architecture Review Board (ARB), responsible for reviewing and approving project solution designs to ensure alignment with established standards.

8. Design and oversee the security architecture, implementing principles such as Defense-in-Depth and Zero Trust Architecture to mitigate cybersecurity threats.

9. Ensure all designed solutions comply with PDPA policies, relevant regulatory requirements (e.g., Bank of Thailand), and international standards such as ISO 27001 and PCI/DSS.

10. Develop and implement a comprehensive IT & Data Governance Framework.

11. Project Enablement & Collaboration:

12. Collaborate closely with Development and Infrastructure/Operations teams throughout the Software Development Lifecycle (SDLC) to ensure the quality and architectural alignment of deliverables.

13. Provide expert consultation and resolve complex technical challenges for project teams.

14. Participate in the vendor selection process by evaluating technical proposals for architectural fit and compliance.

15. Manage the Application Portfolio and Technology Stack to strategically plan investments, enhancements, and retirements (Application Rationalization).

Qualifications

• Education: Bachelor's Degree or higher in Computer Engineering, Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field

Experience:

• A minimum of 7-10 years of experience in the IT field.

• At least 5 years of experience in a dedicated Enterprise Architect, Solution Architect, or IT Architect role. (Experience within the banking, financial services, or insurance industries is highly desirable).

• A minimum of 5-8 years of experience as a Technical Lead, Lead Developer, or Lead Software Engineer, demonstrating a strong technical foundation.

• Technical Skills:

• Expertise in designing modern architectures, including Microservices, API Management, Domain-Driven Design, and Event-Driven Architecture.

• Proven experience in designing and implementing solutions on multi-cloud (AWS, Azure, Huawei,GCP) and hybrid environments.

• In-depth understanding of DevOps/DevSecOps principles and CI/CD pipelines.

• Strong knowledge and experience in Data Architecture, Data Governance, and Data Security.

• Familiarity with software development frameworks such as Java or .NET.

Soft Skills & Others:

• Excellent communication and presentation skills, with the ability to articulate complex technical concepts to senior executives.

• Strong strategic and analytical thinking, with exceptional problem-solving capabilities and the ability to perform under pressure.

• Demonstrated leadership qualities, with the ability to mentor and guide team members.

• Proficiency in the English language.

• Certifications:

• Professional certifications such as TOGAF, CISSP, PMP, ITIL, ISO 27001, or Cloud Certifications (AWS/Azure/Huawei/GCP) are highly advantageous.
