Key Responsibilities:-

  • Analyzing aviation assemblies, parts, or systems for maintenance, repair, or overhaul IAW approved technical data. And critical thinking skills.

  • Able to use basic measuring tools such as Vernier caliper or micrometer and general hand and basic tools.

  • Plan and prepares production schedules and parts accumulation for repair of components to meet production commitments, clear dates and shipment dates.

  • Identify problem or bottlenecks in production processes and resolve issues.
  • Work with the Operations Manager to ensure production resources including materials, equipment and human resources are available as need to maintain production schedules.
  • Support continuous improvement goals in safety, quality, delivery and cost.
  • Identifying lean and other productivity measures to hit cost targets.
  • Monitors team performance measures and provides regular progress reports to the Team Leader and Operations Manager.
  • Must follow and maintain all regulations from aviation authorities (eg FAA,EASA,CAAC and CAAT). Follow all company policies, safety, and quality instructions.
  • Manipulate the company's ERP system to perform all job functions. Select and manage repairs, labor, operations, material demands, proper work scope and other operations as required in the company ERP system.
  • Perform basic preventative maintenance and upkeep of all equipment.
  • Performs administration, inspections, engineering and operational support and tasks as required. Ensure work is performed per approved & controlled documents and performs other required tasks as assigned by the employer.
  • Interacting and working with customer service team and all other departments and others as required in order to achieve and complete business and strategic objectives.

Knowledge, Skills, Abilities & Other Characteristics:-

  • Perform basic repair and machining operations using tools and equipment such as cleaning, inspection, testing, measuring, specialized, and common tools, paint and chemicals.
  • Attend leadership/technical training & learn the skills necessary to perform the job. Advanced skills with business software such as Word, Excel, Power Point etc.
  • Interacting and working with all departments, customers, vendors, contractors and others as required to achieve and complete business and strategic objectives.
  • Must be self-motivated, organized and have good attention to detail.
  • Able to read, interpret and understand drawings, maintenance manuals, process sheets or other approved technical data and/or specifications.
  • Good English language skills (reading/spoken/written).
  • Ability to work shifts or overtime as required.

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's Degree in an Engineering field or manager approval.
