CONNECT ENERGY (THAILAND) CO., LTD. is an internationally accredited recruitment solutions and services consultancy. Now we're looking for Legal Cousel (Lawyer License) as detail below;

Working Hours: Monday - Friday

Location: Bangkok / Chonburi / Rayong

Job Responsibilities

  • Oversee and manage the delivery and administration of legal services within the organization.
  • Provide legal support related to contract matters, including contracts for studies, engineering, procurement, and construction.
  • Assist with various legal issues such as corporate matters, compliance, employment law, mergers and acquisitions, and consortium/JV arrangements.
  • Support regulatory requirements, including licensing, customs, and other statutory obligations.
  • Handle corporate secretarial duties and provide support to senior management.
  • Coordinate with external legal advisors when necessary, including selecting, instructing, overseeing, and liaising with them within approved frameworks and budgets.
  • Support tender-related activities, including drafting, negotiations, and preparation of internal review documents or management presentations.
  • Advise on contractual risks and recommend mitigation strategies.
  • Deliver training on legal and contractual matters.
  • Manage legal disputes, including dispute resolution, negotiations, and preparation for potential litigation.
  • Support project teams in execution, claims management, and proactive risk mitigation. Compliance Responsibilities
  • Conduct Integrity Due Diligence for new third parties based on internal policies and guidelines.
  • Contribute to the development and maintenance of Integrity Due Diligence processes and tools.
  • Perform compliance audits when requested and help maintain the compliance audit plan.
  • Support the handling of whistleblowing reports in accordance with established procedures.
  • Provide guidance and training on the use of the hospitality system.
  • Participate in or deliver compliance awareness training sessions.
  • Offer compliance-related support to projects and tenders, including topics such as anti-corruption, human rights, sanctions, and other regulatory areas.
  • Prepare for and participate in client audits and assessments, and follow up on findings to enhance internal procedures and work processes.
  • Set goals and develop activities that align with organizational objectives and address relevant risk areas.
  • Contribute to reporting across all compliance-related responsibilities.

Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree in Law or higher.
  • Experience in an international law firm or consulting environment is an advantage.
  • Confident, proactive, mature, and energetic personality.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving capabilities.
  • Excellent communication and relationship-building skills.
  • Able to work independently and meet deadlines.
  • Proficient in English, both written and spoken.
  • Ability to provide legal advice in both Thai and English.
  • Competent computer skills, especially in MS Office.
