RD Supervisor

About the role

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced R&D Supervisor to join our team inBangplee, Samut Prakan. In this pivotal role, you will lead our research and development initiatives, supervise laboratory technicians,andoversee both research and lab application projects. You will be responsible for driving innovation and ensuring the delivery ofhigh-quality products that meet the needs and expectations of both the company and our customers. What you'll be doing

Supervise and manage a team of laboratory technicians, providing guidance, training and support to ensure efficient and effective operations

1. Develop and implement laboratory application projects to support sales activities and provide technical solutions to customers.
2. Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including production, quality assurance and marketing, to translate research insights into viable product solutions
3. Ensure compliance with all relevant industry regulations, safety protocols and quality standards
4. Analyze and interpret data, preparing detailed reports and presentations to communicate research findings to key stakeholders
5. Stay up-to-date with the latest industry trends, technologies and best practices, and apply this knowledge to continuously improve our R&D processes

What we're looking for

1. Bachelor's degree in Food Science and Technology or a related field.
2. Minimum 3 years of experience in a similar RD Supervisor or senior lab technician role, preferably within the chemical or related industry
3. Strong technical expertise and hands-on experience in conducting a variety of laboratory tests and experiments
4. Excellent problem-solving, critical thinking and decision-making skills to troubleshoot issues and optimize processes
5. Demonstrated ability to lead and motivate a team, fostering a collaborative and high-performing work environment
6. Strong communication and presentation skills to effectively liaise with internal and external stakeholders
7. Tertiary qualification in a relevant scientific or engineering discipline, such as chemistry, chemical engineering or materials science
